Customs temporary storage depot (A3)

Nola Intermodal Terminal operates also a Customs temporary storage depot (A3) with 40,000m2 of handling space designated to the storage of bonded goods waiting for release into free circulation.

Furthermore, inside the Customs depot a Customs private area (C Type) and a VAT Warehouse on 3,000m2 are available.

Customs depot

The Customs Depot receives bonded containers and provides the possibility of obtaining an authorization for goods release beyond the 20-days deadline provided for by the average temporary storage, within a period of time agreed prior consultation with the Customs Office.

VAT Warehouse

The VAT Warehouse provides storage, without any time limit, to VAT-exempt commodities. The warehouse offers our customers to benefit from very important trade facilitation measures, such as the possibility to pay VAT only on goods for sale, and/or the possibility to sell the goods with a self-billing procedure, suspending VAT payments until the deal has been sealed.

Customs

Inside the facility is located the Nola S.O.T. Customs Office having a territorial competence on Naples and Caserta districts, for all customs procedures.

The Customs premises on 3,000m2 host also the Fiscal Police Offices.

Scanner

The Terminal operating system offers a container scanner service for verification tests, analyzing container goods with no physical inspection.
As the use of the scanner requires a driver exposition to radiations, a customer oriented advance booking guarantees the availability on site of specialized personnel with appropriate equipment during the tests.

Due to this high-technology infrastructural equipment we can provide high levels of flexibility for import-export traffics though friendly and customized services.
