The Terminal is equipped with the most modern and high-performance IT system.

The GATE-IN and GATE-OUT operations are controlled by a “Step” software system interface enabling the operator to constantly update the Terminal management system and offering the customer a useful online tool for container tracing.

Furthermore, the “Step” software provides all necessary information to optimize the planning of Terminal operations and allows an efficient management of terminal space, transferring the information about container identification and yard positioning to the yard operators through a wireless network system.

The “Step” software also generates Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files enabling data flow interchange among the IT systems through a dedicated data channel.

To complete the efficiency of the software system TIN has developed a dedicated e-management internet portal “E-Terminal” where customers are enabled to check their own containers state online and to generate reports on required services (park, positioning, get-in, get-out, etc.).
