The Terminal lies on a surface of 225,000m2, with a temporary storage area on 40,000m2 for extra-EU freight waiting for Customs clearance. The Terminal provides additional storage space with a private Customs warehouse and a VAT warehouse on 3,000m2.

A container servicing and repair section and a 13-tracks marshalling yard connecting the Terminal to the internal cargo railway station complete the facility.

Thanks to its highly efficient intermodal service the Nola Intermodal Terminal provides connections among the main Italian freight ports and villages (Naples, Salerno, Bari, Gioia Tauro, Bologna, Verona, Milan) and many European first class destinations (51 destinations).
